The marina

Marina Fiera Genova consists of two docks at the eastern entrance to the Port of Genoa, from which you can quickly reach the most beautiful inlets and places of the Riviera di Levante.

It is located in the area of the Levante Waterfront, a multi-functional centre for boating and recreational activities, designed by Renzo Piano and now under construction. It is located at the end of the elevated (urban) motorway and is easily accessible from the Genova Est, Genova Ovest and Genova Nervi motorway exits. It has large parking areas near the quays and under the tensile structure.

Overall, MFG has about 320 berths of 4 to 30 metres, with an average draft of about 6 metres, lined up on several docks, an elevated panoramic walkway and a 9,000 sq.m. tensile structure.

The MFG docks and the adjacent Jean Nouvel pavilion host an International Boat Show every year in October.

MFG is a brand of Porto Antico di Genova S.p.A., a company that recently acquired the “trade fair” and “docks” business units of Fiera di Genova S.p.A., further expanding its activities and areas of competence, which historically range from real estate management to congresses, shows and events.

Sports

MFG is a strategic place for water sports. It hosts a nautical base of the Italian Sailing Federation – 1st Zone Committee for youth activities; it is the operational headquarters of major international sailing events in collaboration with the Italian Yacht Club, and it is an important dive centre with diving clubs. In June 2023, some MFG spaces will be used for The Grand Finale – Ocean Race 2022-202.

Discover the Marina

The total body of water now covers an area of about 80 thousand square metres, and it is set to grow once the construction of the Levante Waterfront is completed. A large portion of the outermost dock, known as Waterfront Marina, is managed by Amico & Co, a leader in super yacht refit and repair. The Marina is completed with a service area that houses a self-service restaurant, an agency for boating licenses and forms, and other businesses.
